Most breeders have some sort of program they are working on as far as what they want their sheep to look like so their are many rams out there that are perfect for a specific flock I don't think there is 1 ram that would be the perfect ram for every flick so I'm not sure if you would be able to gain anything by asking this for yourself but if you said what you were looking for I'm sure there would be some input

Crystal I want to commend you on this site as well you have done a great job putting it together and maintaining it I really was just curios a lambing calander would be helpful but I do realize this takes time and I totally understand you are busy so thanks again for all of your hard work

I agree totally with emsoff if I bred ewe lambs before they would lamb at 13 months they milk very poorly and 13-14 months were almost as good as aged ewes so I would give them an extra month or two

Never heard of using it we used the iodine or la 200 method with great success once the lambs are fully mature we haven't seen any issues again

What are the protocols used for ai ing last year I saw someone post they used estrumate I have my ewes in a fairly sub standard field right now plan on moving to our lush pasture 45 days before breeding have a teaser ram but last year I saw several different protocols posted on my lamb does anyone feel one was more successful than the others

Does anyone know what the popular drenches that are being used before and at shows when I ask everyone acts like its a secret I may ask at the wrong time but am curious to what they are using and if it makes that big of a difference
