Just wanted to wish you all a very Merry Christmas.
I hope you have a great day with your families and as you do your chores today, take a moment to thank the Lord for letting us own a barn and take care of the beautiful sheep that we have. How humbling it is to know that it's the exact place that God chose for the birth of his son, our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. It gives me chills to imagine His birth, right there in the straw!  I can only imagine!
We are truly blessed to be shepherds. I have two ewes due today. How exciting!

I have been buying the 2lb. bags from Pipestone and mixing it in salt for the last couple of years.
Going to mix it into the ewes feed this year.
Shane, I know you've talked about doing this for awhile now. At what rate do you mix per ton and what is your expected consumption rate?
