I've noticed some producers AIing ewe lambs. Is this something new? Thought you weren't supposed to. I've used CIDRs on ewe lambs and it worked so I guess someone took the next step.

It is done but you do not have as high of a take rate which is why it is not recommended.

Thanks, it does seem risky. I only cidred 2 ewe lambs this year. Nothing happened after pulling cidrs at 10 days and 2.5 cc pg600. They both cycled and bred 16 days later.

We tried AI for the first time this year, only ewes that took were ewe lambs, go figure..........
