Was hoping to get everyone's thoughts and ideas on barn cameras for lambing season. Is there a specific type/brand you are using as well as thoughts on the economical security cameras offered thru Wal-Mart, Radio Shack, Home depot etc. Thanks

We put some in last year and it was great. I got them at Best Buy when they were on sale. They don`t have sound which might be nice but it really helped having them. My wife would check the TV screen quite often if I was not home and call me if she would see one starting to lamb. These cameras have a set up that you can check them with your smart phone also.

Check eBay. Probably 8 years ago we bought a Swaan Nighthawk setup from Radio Shack for about $200. I needed a replacement cord Las year and looked on Ebay and because it's old technology, you can now get a refurbished two camera set for just over $20. It's worked great for years in our place.
