Arbico's Fly Eliminator Sample
« on: June 13, 2015, 03:30:46 pm »
I just received my sample of Arbico's Fly Eliminators; however, we typically spray our stalls down w/ Permethrin-10 and I didn't know if it would affect them?!?  Also we try to keep the stall pretty cleaned out bc of the fly issues, but do we need to leave a little for them to bury into?!?

You might be able to direct our questions directly to the company you bought the fly eliminators from, but I would sure think that any pesticides would kill them too. And no, I don't think you need to purposely leave any manure. The reading I've done on them is that flies are able to outbreed the eliminators anyway, which is why you have to reapply every month.

A bunch of the wasp hatched today, so we went ahead and scattered them out.  However, we have been working on our 4-H Record Book that is due tomorrow ALL DAY (yes, we are the worst procrastinators) and did a little mechanical fly control to release some stress...LoL!  :o
