We went to our first show of the year yesterday. This morning I have two sheep with Whelps down their backs. Any advice what this might be?

I am assuming you mean welts? Could be any number of things. An allergic reaction to the shampoo you used, fly bites... If the wool gets crusty at all, it's fungus, but that would take more than a day to show up. I might rinse with cool water and watch it carefully. Keep a blanket on them to keep flies off them.
